It's a while since I've been, so I can't remember the exact price, but I feel it was around £6-7.

85 Danish kroner ~ 17 US Dollars

Our tickets are some of the most expensive in the world and then there's only few good movies to watch

Around £6.50 or something like that.

Paying £6.50 to watch a movie vs. spending 5 minutes downloading the same movie with a 20MB connection. No contest. Plus, you don't get all the fools that talk throughout the whole movie, I swear they should have a special section for them. http://i11.tinypic.com/8aty5uv.gif

i dont pay anymore than £5; thats on cheap/student night and in the day for new releases. i used to work in my local cinema, surprisingly fun job tbh

downloading a movie vs. going to watch it at the cinema really arent comparable. downloading is fine for convenience but for a brand new movie the quality is almost certainly dreadful
and the atmosphere that the cinema creates with large screen and sound is impossible to compete with in your average home - movies are made for the big screen after all, not the small one

also, what was the reason for asking this question? seems odd

It's so easy to get into theaters without having to pay, but I don't really like goin' to them. I prefer to wait until the movie comes out on DVD. The expensive theater is probably around $10, the one located in a "bad" location is about $3.
