Okay guys, if anyone wants to talk about the game.
i have a few things to say, ( i bought it)
but a. farves on the cover in a packers uniform?
b. hes not in the game on the packers or the jets or even a free agent.
c. ive had multiple occasions where the other team has the ball and its only second down and they punt for no reason. i mean im not complaining but it takes away from the realism.
anyone else play it yet, if so what do you think?

Its out here on Friday, im thinking of buying it. Im not much of an NFL fan mainly because its on stupid times in the morning over here, and I cant always be bothered to stay up, but I normally enjoy the games. I bought Madden 08 and thought it was shite but I like the demo of this so will probably get it when it comes down in price a little. Thats a pretty big blunder not having Favre in the game but having him on the cover, surely they will release a patch for that?

ahh, i downloaded one this morning.
you have to start an online game to get the patches, when i thought they would download automatically.
the games good,
some things are annoying but you can turn them off (they have a rewind feature which lets you go back in time if you mess up a play which is kinda stupid)
and theres a lot more depth.
(you can control your blockers, and can tell your recievers where to go on the fly)
overall its pretty solid id give 08 a 9 and 09 a 9.5 or something.

EA came out 2 weeks ago on ESPN's First Take and said that they decided not to put Favre on the Packers but he was at the top of the FA list. And you could assign him to a team or if you went into a career he would get snatched quickly. Maybe you got screwed?

Well then EA was being stupid cause I remember them talking about how you can't start a franchise, or before them and add him to his team or whatever team you wanted.
