share lists

now i have taken advantage of the requests section here, and i kind of feel like i should give something back instead of just leeching off the request fillers contantly
i know they had this section on albumbase, and i think it worked well, altho i never used it or submitted a list myself

so; a sharelist board under music in the goldmine for users to put in a list of albums they can upload at the request of other users? ^_______=

i'd love to do this, but i don't keep most of my files on my computer...i just burn them off and archive them...i'm upwards of 2500 discs right now and a list would be nice, but fuck it would take a long-ass time to do!!!

Yeah. People were replying to posts made over 18 months previously.

Mind you, if this section was moderated well, it could be viable.

i think a share list section dont need a Mod

you make your request in the right topic...and the list owner reply with the link..so easy

but this worked only in the beginning....and later not anymore

all got their albums alot easier and faster in the request section

That's true. The point I wasw making was that if it was modded, then any redundant lists could be closed. Either way, doesn't matter.

oh and i just tried posting it anyway in the goldmine music section
not any of the genres just the music bit where there isnt any threads yet
BUT I COULDNT DO IT ANYWAY!
cos the character limit on posts is only 10,000
this sucks man
the post with my share list came to 32,000+

I tried to make a share list, but I have got my albums on different cd's/dvd's/backups..
Does anybody know how to make one list on alphabetically order?
