Music Gender Artist Genres

Hi I am new here and Wow this a good page.

Artist Genres
Submit each album in the CORRECT genre, putting an album in an incorrect genre is making the site disorganized and cluttered.
If you do not know what genre the album is, go to allmusic.com and look up the genre, or alternatively go to google and search "artistname genre"
Simply putting an album in the "other" genre without researching the genre beforehand is NOT acceptable.

My suggestion is you need to put this Gender as options(Reggaeton,Salsa,Merengue,Bachata,Rock En Español) this way it will not get disorganized

i think the only reason why we haven't branched into other genres is due to lack of demand in those genres. most of the things we're trying to upload have significant demand to help in acquiring points towards rapidshare (or others hosts) accounts. if there starts to be an influx of the genres you listed above, i'm sure the admins will reevaluate the genre structure

Yup.

Many times both on AlbumBase (the AW template) and here on AW has the topic of which genres to have has been discussed. The genres we have is because they are large enough with a sufficient demand to keep them separate.
