it jus makes me not like chelsea EVEN more, theyre no doubt jus gonna throw money at a big name manager, give him loads of money and play it that way, even tho a.grant took them within 2 points of the title, and to the final of the champions league, which theyve never got to before.........i hate abramovich, i dont think he understands the concept of a settled team and manager, look at man u, they spent a lot but nowhere near as much as chelsea in the last 5 or so years, and theyre about level on trophies i think (guessing)
and of course wenger at arsenal were top for ages, if things had happened differently they could of been champions, they barely spent anything, abramovich plays with chelsea like i used to on management games lol, he jus fucks with the team too much wantin all the best names an shit, oh well, hopefully theyll fail again

I dont really like Grant, I think he is tactically quite poor and I dont think he is much of a leader or great man manager. But I have never reached the final of the Champions League or finished second in the Premier League by two points, so I have to say its very harsh considering that. I agree with mega about Abramovic, he doesnt know what he is doing, he just wants to buy instant success and if he doesnt get it he sacks the manager. Its crazy.
Over the past 5 years we have won 3 Premier League titles, FA Cup, and now the Champions League (:D:D:D), Chelsea have two Premier Leagues, FA Cup, and League Cup. The difference is when we went through a bad spell when Keane left mid season and Van Nistelrooy fell out with Fergie, we stuck by the manager (not that you can really turn on him after all he has achieved) and it was rewarded. Also they arent very good at bringing youngsters through, they dont get a chance. Arsenal are great at it, mainly down to Wenger, and we have shown in the past with Scholes, Neville, Beckham, Giggs etc we will do the same, and now we are trying to replace those exceptional players with more youngster (Ronaldo replaced Beckham, Anderson will take over from Scholes, Nani from Giggs). Joe Coles the only one really, SWP has had limited chances and would of been better of staying at City or joining Arsenal, Robben, Johnson, Parker etc all end up being sold.
Gone slightly off topic.... :p
