i kinda taught myself how to do HDR (High Dynamic Range) photos and am looking for some critique. i have never done anything like them before and i thought that they turned out pretty good. let me know what you all think.

i have Cannon 400 EOS, so i can join u taking those killed photos also.

well thank you very much.
i'll look up the tutorial i used for learning how to do the HDR photo and then once i find that i will up the program i use for doing the actually HDR merging and what not.

thanx. that's an older one that i did last summer. my newest three that i did are at that flickr link. did you get a chance to check those ones out yet? if so what do you think? i think that i may have the style down a little bit better in those new ones.

i Would have to say those are some pretty gnarly HDR's sir, But something is bugging me they look so familiar lmfao. I swear ive been there before :rolleyes:

yeah the 2nd dock one in the flickr links also looks pretty tasty, altho im not sure what it is ur doing, just getting super mega fine definition in the pics? they are nice, but because the are so crisp they remind me of like desktop background images?

I taught myself how to take HDR shots recently too. Below is one of my shots using Photomatix Pro to merge 3 images with different exposure times to get a surreal effect.

the only bad thing about this one that i did is above the trees you can kinda of see a halo forming still which i don't really like. what's everybody else think?

thanx. i'm just glad that i haven't lost my photographic touch seeing as i haven't even picked up my camera in almost a month or so.
