Ranked game stats online, such as score from 30+ yards, win 1 game, win 5 games, win 5 in a row, 10 in a row, average a certain win % in your last 10 games, complete 100 games, score a hat trick, stuff like that I think. I dont play ranked games though because everybody picks the top teams, and even though I support United I quite like being weaker teams. It feels good beating Chelsea and Liverpool with Helsingborgs, but I get wound up when I lose  :p Im kind of a half FIFA (or Euro 2008) convert aswell, after years of playing PES, but im yet to buy it. I actually have a decision to make for the first time in years when Pro Evo and FIFA 09 come out.
I hope EA dont get hold of 2k Sports and ruin NBA aswell, I could have no sports games to play.

Yes.
And I'm Pro Evo all the way. I haven't played Euro 2008, but FIFA 2008 was shit, as usual. The only reason FIFA is looking better is because Pro Evo isn't improving.

Yeah I guess. I really liked the demo of Euro 2008 at first, couldnt get into FIFA though. I dont think its worth buying, too close to GTA and Metal Gear, and you only have European national teams to play as. I think im just frustrated and fed up of conceding 30 yard thunderbolts from Mikael Silvestre and the like, my mate seems to pop up with a couple every game! :D

okay, if im from the states. and dont know a thing about soccer, and dont know anything about the teams, but want a fun enjoyable game (it doesnt have to be realistic, id rather have an arcadey yet fun. then a life like sim game that requires knowledge of the game and skill)
which soccer game would you guys recommend (so i can play one when i get my xbox back)

Ah dude, that is a tough question. For years Pro Evo has been considered the purists choice from a gameplay point of view despite not having official licenses, but Fifa has always sold more copies because it has all the official licenses. Now though, many people feel disgruntled with the lack of progress in the Pro Evo series, and especially the online play (its terrible on Xbox and even worse on Playstation, lag is the worst ive experianced on any game despite the connections being good), and it seems as if EA are progressing although its still not to everyones taste (I hated the demo of the last one)
Normally I would say Pro Evo straight away, but I am one of those disgruntled with Pro Evo after loving the first 5/6 on the PS2, so I would probably say download the demos if its possible. Over here its pretty split, all my mates play Pro Evo, but everybody from my footy team plays Fifa :D
Theres also Fifa Street is just a super arcadey game, but its shite to be honest :D

I have no idea tbh. Most of the Pro Evo ones are to do with online from what I can remember.

Actually from the looks of that, only 4 are specific for online games.

i was in my game store the other day and saw fifa 06 for 2 dollars.
i picked it up and it was really hard to get used to at first, but once i got the hang of it it was fun.
