a lot of times when i download albums from the main site, if there is a password needed, almost 100% of the time the password is not on the page with the links. i noticed in this section that other people have the same or similar problem. i think it would be greatly appreciated if people posting the links could put the password in.

then mark the link as a bad link and it will get taken down,
when uploading it says to post the password, if any, with it.
so theres already a guideline in place. some people just forget or choose not to follow(which doesnt benefit anybody)
so the best we could so is just mark em as bad links and either have someone replace it with a non password protected archive or request em in the forums.

maybe there should be a bad password or no password option and then maybe if it wasnt to much work for the admins or whoever is in charge of that type of stuff could either find the password or ask the poster to put it up.

that accomplishes the same thing as if they took it down and someone reposted it. And if it upsets you that badly, as i said earlier. REQUEST IN THE FORUMS. or go buy it.
and lolz @ mega.

There is an option to report the link on the main board, that is what you need to do.
If the link submitter does not provide a password for the download, it is impossible for the link checkers to check every single download for every album submitted to check contents and if a password is needed.
We hope that people do the right thing and provide all necessary information when they submit a link, unfortunately, in the real world this does not happen all the time.
The link checkers do a fantastic job and should be commended for their work. On the whole, the majority of link submitters also do the right thing.
It is unfortunate when problems occurs, but they can only be fixed when exact links are reported through the current reporting system on the main site. Failure to notify exact links on the main site and only reporting general comments about these type of problems on the forum does not fix the problem.
The responsibility rests with the link providers and down loaders to make it work. Every site on the net that provides this sort of service also suffer the same problem.
At the end of the day, your getting something for nothing, so a little give and take goes a long way. :)

hahaha. who buys things? anyways, you could always just post in the request section saying that you need a password for the link and just make sure to give a copy of the link. i know that i've found and seen it happen a few occasions now.
