The problem is that simply recording a logo or whatever does not give you absolute copyright.
Things to consider are the local laws, then International laws, you would need to copyright in other countries, their requirements may differ to those in your own county.
Also you need to think about the actual item you trying to copyright, a search would need to be conducted to ensure you are not trying to register something that has already been done and is already protected by copyright.
As you can see, it is not something that the lay person would do and it is defiantly not something that giving some money to a faceless person on the Internet would secure ownership of the item be it and image, audio, video etc

dude, if you don't post it anywhere, or any variations of it anywhere on the net, or not use it for anything, then there is nothing to worry about. :)

well, put the copyright symbol on it..
or put writing through it, my mate puts his name through the centre of everything in a transparent way, and big enough to stop people taking all his images..
if you put the symbol on there, i doubt anyone will bother checking if u officially had it copyrighted..

if u write it once, through the centre, like in my mates pic below [he is a photographer and graphic designer]
http://www.mattjelonek.com/images/veronicas_mattjelonek.jpg
see how it is transparent?
before he had them going through the centre.
so something along those lines..

Poor man's copyright works as well. Print it and mail it to yourself then don't open the letter. It will be postmarked with a date proving it is yours.
