The missions in AC are so sick, every mission is about gathering information about your next target, so you're beating people up for answers, pickpocketing, eavesdropping, etc. All very sneaky.

Can't give you a verdict on the Live elements, but I've really enjoyed playing it, and I'm getting towards the end. I feel the main crux of it is too short lived, but there are many side-quests - even if some are a little repetetive. However, depending on your mind-set, there is replay value. I only paid £20 as it was in a sale over here, and I don't know the benchmarks for the American market to say if it would be a good investment for you.

Memento have you lost faith in PES aswell? I remember you downloading the last one when it came out. Ive gone the same way, played PES since the first installment on PS2 but unfortunately now ive been forced over to FIFA seeing as PES refuses to go next-gen and just spits the same game out (albeit with a new mode they stole from FIFA 08 :p). Im really bad on FIFA though, unless I play BAP mode online then im alright. :)

Currently on Neverwinter Nights 2. Enjoying the game, but I'm not without problems.

- It's the buggiest POC I've ever come across.
- If I try to patch, the patch completes, with error messages, and then the game crashes as soon as I try to play the game from the main menu.
- Of the two expansion packs I downloaded, only one actually works. The other causes a similar crashing problem, as it autopatches on installation.

So it looks like I'll probably just complete the main story - a few clichés, but otherwise pretty decent - and then let it be, rather than play through a few times. Which is a shame, as it's one I would probably like to go through more than once, and deffo look at the expansions.

unless they changed something to where you can die more than once.
when i was playing it, all the game modes only allowed you to die a certain amount of times.

But just like Kenshi, i've been trying to rack up some Achievements on older games. Too bad it gets boring.

i havent got bored of the achievements it just gets...i dont know. im more reluctant to go for them when its the harder achievements that i need to put hours into, im starting to get to those, the easy achievements are almost all done.

and i dont like dying once either, but on vegas two, only deathmatch you get 2 deaths, objective games you get as many deaths as you want, so that is what i play. and if you play vegas one you need to switch to 2. no comparison what so ever, 2 is a MUCH better game, way more replay value and the online is great and the terrorist hunts are better, not to mention you can sprint which adds a lot of speed to the game play.

i lost my COD 4 so i cant play it, but they are different types of games thats why, COD is more fast paced and no peaking over walls. i dont know any games that play like vegas its a great game IMO it just takes a little patience cause you cant run and gun or you will die

Been on a little hiatus from Lost Odyssey, so I'm playing that right now.

Having played every iteration of the Smackdown series of games since the PS1, I finally gave into temptation, and rented SVR2009 for a week, even though I stopped watching the actual shows years ago. And again, it was slightly different with no real improvement. However, in those few days, it was good enough to warrant picking it up off eBay, so that should be arriving soon.

I've also decided to reinvest in Mass Effect, which I look forward to playing through again.

Yeah, i've read some. To be honest, i wasn't THAT impressed with '09 as a singleplayer game (somehow it didn't give me that euforic feel that PES6 did after scoring or a good pass). With friends it's the absolute shit though, love it.


But yeah, i got good hopes for 10, especialy with the 360 turn feature and the new free kick system. Saving different plays for a free kick could be sooo sick, at the same time it might become a bug when there are plays found that become sure goals. I heard that's why they wont be adding that feature in Multiplayer. We'll see.

I know what you mean about the 'wow' goals. But away from that, it's easily the most solid representation of football I've, and 10 is shaping up real nice. I'll possibly do what I did last year, and download PES (if it won't take me too long), just so I can see what it's like, but FIFA will be the game I buy for my 360.

I've just finished Lost Odyssey, and final battle is just about the best I've experienced in an RPG. The whole ending is amazing in general, and I'm actually struggling to think of a better one. It moves you relentlessly between emotions; from sadness, to joy, back to sadness - there's humour in there and also that fuzzy warm feeling as well.

I'm really glad that I played this, and I would recommend this to anyone (who has the patience for this sort of game).

Yeah. We can all do this posts where you just post the game and that's it. But if you give your opinion, hopefully it will generate some discussion.

I have indeed played Fallout 3. It was good, and I enjoyed playing it, but I felt let down by the story. No surprise really though, as Bethesda never seem to be able to put together a strong main plot. The first half of the story was quite good, but around halfway, the quality just plummeted and the ending was a massive anti-climax. The atmosphere and setting of the game was brilliant though, and combat was good enough (aside from sniper VATS, which was beyond useless).

However, I tried to play through the game again for some of the other achievements, and didn't get very far. I then traded it in. I may come back to it again at some point though, probably when I can pick it up from eBay for under a tenner.

IMO get the dlc that ups your level cap to 30, thats pretty sweet if you ask me. because you beat the levels in the DLC in like 3 hours so its good to still have something to do. i think its called broken steel

Oblivion I played to death. I played it on PC, then again on 360 many months later. And then again on the PC just before Xmas last year for a while with a load of mods which I now couldn't play without.

I was going to do Shivering Isles for the first time on that one, but my installed fucked up before I could play it properly, and haven't had the patience to fix it up again.

All in all, I reckon I've clocked in close to 1000 hours playing Oblivion.

i was playing prototype, its a pretty sick game but then i downlaoded Turtles In Tme: Reshelled for the ps3, off the psnetwork. its soooo retro, did any of u used to play it as a nipper? brings back memories, but i seem to remember it being longer and having be bop and rocksteady in it, but they aren't in this version, maybe its just a mis memory
