Not exactly a big fan of screemo. I don't like emo. i don't like screaming. Simple. Nu-metal seems to be a generally disliked genre of music, but I don't have a problem with it. A lot of music that floats around this area of music tends to get categorised differently by different people though. There are bands I like which do get classed as nu-metal. However, I couldn't say with any particular genre that I am going to like it or dislike it - it's the band which dictates whether or not I like something.

im not going to lecture anyone on it tho cos it gets really boring to keep having to say the same shit over and over

im not exactly sure why you lumped those two completly unrelated genres together tho, which makes me curious as to what bands you would consider 'screemo' and what bands you have heard that you would call that

numetal is something i have never had any interest in tho, its only been in the last 3 or so years that ive listened to any metal, really - mostly drone, doom and sludge-y bands, but some hardcore and math also

Nu-metal... I guess it depends on what you mean. I've heard bands that I love classified and nu-metal and i've heard bands that I can't stand classified as nu-metal.

any band that has ever been described as numetal must be really horrible, it isnt like its a tag thats banded around onto tons of bands that are completly different
