i think the song you wrote sounds like a SNES game song. i dont know much about guitar playing to comment really. i only know if it sounds like what i would listen to. i dont think its the notes that make it sound like that i think its the way they sound. if that makes sense, it just sounds in that tone. the riffs were cool, the first i enjoyed more. did you say before that you would like to contribute to a beat?

I think Random Riffage 2 sounds pretty cool, Random Riffage 1 sounds good too but it kinda sounds like it was recorded to loud

Yeah, I put a bass boost on it from Audacity but it definitely was too much, didn't know what it was until now.

checking it now, have you heard of buckethead?

and it wouldnt be hard all you would have to do is play a small riff. then the harder work is whoever is really making the beat because they have to incorporate it. example, how ever easy it was for you to do the motif of the first riff, that is how easy it would be

like the solo song, i dont know if its the song or my speakers but i had to turn my speakers way down to lower static.

also, on your site you have to click a lot of links. IMO this is gonna turn people off and they wont want to click them all. i think when you click a link like the random riffage series link it should take you right to a list of them all and if you can, they should play right from there, if not you should only have one link after that instead of the extra two.

I love Buckethead, he's a great guitarist.

If you played the solo V2, then you probably heard me turn on my chorus pedal, I probably shouldn't have done that, considering how bad it sounds even with the wah pedal.
