Though I didn't care for his music, it's a sad sad thing to hear

I am the opposite, I liked his music, but I did not care for him. The child molester. Now he cannot hurt anymore kids and then hide behind his money to protect him.

Hope he rots in hell.

well, he probably faked his death to get out of performing the gigs he obviously couldn't manage in london, avoid ongoing legal battles and to get out of the public eye.
hes prob on the first plane to thailand to hang out with garry glitter molesting small children.

nah, it is a loss, but he was only good back in the thriller/bad days. his music and perosnality went shockingly down hill after that. its a shame hes dead, but hes no hendrix, morrison, joplin etc....

I hope someone fucking rapes him in Hell. I hate his music and I hate him. Did you guys know he before he moved out, even living with his parents, he had a room in his house that was a candy store and he'd invite little boys he knew to come eat candy and watch movies. He was always fucked.

I just would like to say that there are two schools of thought on this guy.

You either liked him or hated him for various reasons.

Please feel free to post your likes or dislikes about him, as there will be individuals on both sides of the fence.

No one will be flamed or otherwise for their beliefs, we may disagree with opposing posts, but you have the right to express your thoughts without being flamed or attacked with any individual personal insults.

He is moon-walking his way to heaven, or probably hell for liking little boys, lol.

My question. Do priests get absolved? If so, would Michael be absolved for being the "king of pop"? If he is, he's going to "heaven" if not "hell". Or maybe karma will re-incarnate him as a cockroach.

hard to really blame him for much except all the shit he did to his skin

the shit with the little boys was never proven and everyone who ever tried to nail him for it was exposed and exploited for being fucking nuts on their own.

does that mean he was innocent? no one really knows. and no one will ever know.

but just like a lot of other childhood celebrities, he had a genuinely screwed upbringing.

either way, he had a huge impact on music as we know it and listen to it from pop to rap to soul and everything in between.

there won't be another death as devastating as this one in the music industry until paul mccartney passes...

really tragic shit and if anyone hates him for things that can't be proven...well...judge that on your own

Well, when it is us. Remember, the glove needs to be small enough to not fit on your hand. I'm sure MJ used that excuse like OJ.

The role of the defense team is to prevent any evidence being allowed to be presented in court, that could or would put their client in a negative or incriminating situation.

Funny though, in both cases, they were found innocent, but yet paid out millions in civil cases.

Like I said, if it was your or me.

It is sad, he had some great songs and reality is, there will never be a star like him, the era of that type of possibility has passed and will not come again.

He was quite sick, and rumours were spreading that he needed transplants and etc. for certain organs but because of his poor health he was not allowed to go through the procedures, at the age of 50 to pass is young, and it is unfortunate, but he was on heavy prescription medication which ultimately rooted his heart over. When you take that many drugs, your hearts gonna give out, doesn't matter how old you are.

Either way, at the end of the day, he has touched millions of lives with his music, and some people will treasure his music for the rest of his life as it holds a special meaning to them. Some people won't and go, who cares? It is all personal opinion. With his charges, you can only speculate, no one will ever know the truth, there will always be two sides to the story, but whatever happened, needed to happen, there is something always of value to gain from any experience, no matter how bad it will seem. Consciousness works in wondrous ways.

He was an amazing performer back in the day, and age, mental capacity and physical degradation got the better of him.

I would think they would shove him into something to do with the CI institute or something though (Cryonics) for possible "bringing back to life" and etc, but I doubt anyone will confirm.

Who knows, maybe another case of taking the lesson of Tupac Shakur, fake your death and escape to live normal life.

MJ supporter or not, his music will be around for decades to come, and artists will constantly remix/sample his music more-over in the time to come.

I wonder if he has a vault of unreleased material like Tupac did though.

Thank you Mabrymusic. This is exactly how I feel.

We dont know what happened. All we know is that he looked like a freak that doesnt make him guilty of anything else. I prefer to let him RIP.

Peace

bottom line to me... he was only Michael Jackson when he was of a darker skin colour, when he was moonwalking and zombie dancing his way around bad, smooth criminal etc. Not since he changed into a white, pointy nosed, unwell looking middle aged man, that is when the king of pop died, not last night on a hospital bed!

what about poor Farrah Fawcett, died of anal cancer but did so much for not only that but other causes, and her death will be overshadowed by this ginat freak in the plastic mask!

and what if it is that, just a mask, takes it off and you wouldn't know him from jack! he'll get some work done on it and put it back on after the london gigs :P

Yay, I'm finally seeing some good Jacko jokes.

jacjas_7

He was a music icon and a wonderful dancer. He had his misgivings, some far worse than others. Most of them never solved or proven to be fact, one fact is clear, his music was some of the best in the world. He never failed to disappoint when putting on concert. He was all about showmanship. He had some of the most memorable music videos ever made. He has had an effect on the music we know and love from artists in all genres. He gave us "Thriller" probably the best album ever made.

Does he rank up there with Elvis, John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Tupac...I think so. His death, like those in the list above will always have questions around how they died, how they lived, and what they could have truly become if they were alive today.

In parting, I say good-bye Michael Jackson...The King of Pop.

Compared to most topical jokes, most of the MJ ones have been really bad.

That is true, there will always be a "what if" if they were alive just that bit longer...

To tell you the truth, I expected Memento Mori to be one of the first with jokes. :p

Though greddie, your McJackson burger one, I gotta take my hat off to ya for that. Classic.
