I have a few mates who rap/produce and some acquaintances that do the same.

One of my best mates has a couple tracks he has recorded and mastered, he also has beats but I can't post either unless he says the ok for it as it is his work...

Another has a complete CD which I will not leak to the net until it is released, but it is very good gear.

Another makes beats and produces and has some killa work, and then some others either rap or produce.

My best mate wants to teach me how to produce/record gear while he is rapping so yeah, will be interesting to see how it turns out. :)

I will download yours and check it out. When I was playing with Sony Acid before, I could never figure out how to make sure the intros started off well...lol

well its pretty much an mf doom rip off, im not gonna lie, i heard this album "the blackbyrds" and two songs on it mf doom had used in beats. so i was like fuck it il give it a shot and made this from one of the others he hadnt used

Besides the intro sometimes not hitting "perfectly" in rhythm this is a beat I would love to fuck around with and throw a sixteen onto. I generally only throw sixteen onto a DJ Delgatz beat that moves me, and mega your beat just made me feel like gold.

Wrote 10 down gave you 6 freestyle at the end. (because I had something I wanted to run with I thought of in the shower =P ) The format is .wma. My friend who I record with is in Maine so I have no access to his equipment. I'm a little soft at the beginning but I gotta run errands so I'll post it up just so you guys can see what I did with it. Haha, nothing special I just felt that beat. Can't wait to see what Kenshi brings.

Thanks for the feedback (I didn't expect you to like it, or the accent, but I guess I got 1 fan =] ), I'll give you the lyrics here because I was only using a Sound Recorder and my logitech speakers. It's very low tech, that's honestly the best I could do without having the "white noise" in the background. When I see my friend when he gets home, I'll hit you up with somethin' better quality.

mega thats a really nice beat!! fuck man, thats 10x better than some of the shit beats you hear on some records! to be perfectly honest, it's a little too smoothed out for my liking. i prefer either a funkier edge or a little darker :) wish i had a mic available, it's been ages since i spat a rap. i'll have to upload the stupid songs me and my mates made last year, wherre the beats are made on a shit casio keyboard and the vocals recorded with a 10 year old crappy karaoke mic hahah, now thats how you do it.

oh and youre right about the mf doom sound :) i quite like some of doom's beats but usually they're a bit repetitive and never really go anywhere - luckily yours didn't suffer from that!

mega i like that new beat! the main few bars got my head bobbing straight away. now without sounding like i'm picking holes (i'm just trying to give an honest opinion, got tonnes of respect), i think the middle section of the song got a bit repetitive. you switched it up nicely towards the end tho. i guess if someone spat over the middle part you could then rework sections of the beat to fit the verse - and then i'm sure it'd be uber fresh lol :respect:

thanks m8, this beat does get repetitive, i will have to go back and rework the chorus or somethin....i was goin for a mobb deep style hard beat, but its jus not relevant these days, il go do somethin to it definitly....
altho this was jus a rough one again, to me some of the vocal sample does not quite fit rhythmically with the other sample, will have to play with that a bit, it did fit before, but i moved it about and messed it up

Hey I just listened to this. It's a good beat. It has a poetic type of feel to it. I'm not good with sounds so I can't point out the instrument, but it's overpowering of the drums turns this beat into a smoother sounding piece
