So i've lost my wack ass mic - was just about to record some ish - Written down and everything - so yeah

I need to replace it now - so whats a good mic people?

Remember it's only vocals - i know vocal mics dnt need to be as good as instrument mics so minus that i have no clue

look up USB mics, i got a pretty good one from MXL for around 100 dollars

MXL 990 is the one i use and it is good and cheap but you will also need an amp

they have the SM58 Shure mic with a usb dealio now.
tight i almost bought it the other day
$200 :/

Thanks for all those recommendations i will filter them through then revive this topic like a pheonix from the flame when i have my mic :D

ive been looking to buying a usb mic for recording some rhymes too, i was tempted by the Samson CO1U, but still not sure what to get. don't wanna spend all that much money in total, just want something that gives some clarity to the recording :)

id be interested in a few more recommendations!

here is the mic i use for droppin rhymes and i would say it works good and is very inexpensive
