Bloody awesome 90 minute programme I saw on our Documentary channel last night.
I found a webpage for it today, and what I saw was actually seven episodes; The Wanting, Bombardment, Wounded, Men & Woman, Love & Need, Freedom, and Grace.
It's a really cool look at philosophy's and beliefs from all over the world with short comments from people, mostly unknown but with the odd 'celeb' thrown in, but is mostly a brilliant mix of music from absolutely everywhere.
Some Hindi pop blends seamlessly into a western hip hop rhyme, then drifts into an African woman chanting, all of a sudden we are listening/watching some ancient Iberian woman folk singers with Carlos Santana sitting on a chair adding awesome, lonely sounding lead breaks. I just never ends and is absolutely fucking brilliant.
It was made by some Aussie crew, and you can watch the whole thing, (in HD too if your 'puter can handle it..) ... right here..
