So I have been on a big indie rock kick lately and wondered if anyone has some suggestions for awesome indie rock bands similar to like Arcade Fire, MGMT, Interpol, The Decemberists, Band Of Horses, and Cold War Kids.

i don't listen to much of this but i will give it a shot:
neutral milk hotel, animal collective, minus the bear, stars, broken social scene, as tall as lions, vampire weekend, empire of the sun, the weakerthans, andrew bird, the mountain goats

maybe check some kinsella stuff, like american football, owen, cap'n jazz, owls

I've literally haven't listened to any new music in approx. one year...blasphemy I know. However I just got a new iPod doc and am itching to find new tunes. Thus my first stop was Album Wash. I'm a little out of the loop, but I was a huge indie fan...If you're not a fan of Joy Division, I'd give them another listen now that you're into Indie...very raw sound, but sooo good...

One of my personal favorite indie bands is The National...

My favorite indie band of ALL time is Wintersleep...prepare to be blown away.

Hey thanks, btw I don't use torrents anymore but thanks anyways for that link. Out of those that you mentioned I know I like Fleet Foxes, Portugal The Man, Bon Iver, and The Black Keys. I don't think I have heard anything from the other bands, but I will check them out fo sho.
