Inernational football for me is very much 'meh'. I'll watch the major tournaments, and the odd friendly or qualifier if I have nothing better to do, but in general I couldn't give a flying hoot.

Good football is good football to me, i agree that international matches have become alot less interresting the last couple of years, we're left dissapointed too many times, but it only makes watching a real good match that much better. And i was deffinitly entertained the last two weeks.

International football is shit if youre from England. I used to watch Northern Ireland play instead, its more entertaining seeing the underdogs giving it their all in international football. Well, unless youre from Spain or somewhere like that and get to see a team play great passing football instead.

Go oranje!!!
Actually, I've got two close mates who are soccer freaks. Ones from Oldham and the other is from NZ but his parents were born in Rotterdam. Makes for interesting discussions. We've had some riotous sessions in front of the telly here watching pommy/dutch internationals.

Thank's yall, for supporting our team. Anyone saw Netherlands - Macedonia? My fists had bitemarks in it after that first half. So fucking good. And Van Persie was injured, imagine if he played aswell, though the Sneijder/Kuyt combo was working so well too.
I hope we become the World Champions finally, not religious, but i'd pray for that.

Not entirely sure where the link is, but this just made me recall an event in watch a match a few years back. It was England vs. France, although I cannot remember the significance of it, and there were several of us round the TV watching it - and I think the same was true for just about every person you could find. Even the adjacent golf course was empty. Well, aside from one lone man who when questioned (by us via shouting) as to why he was not watching the match, replied with a limp shrug.
Truly one of those 'had to be there' moments, but just the lone figure skulking across the fairway, whilst all and sundry were engaged with the football on the telly tickled us quite brilliantly.

i follow this. In our group (finland) there are two teams ahead of us.
Germany and Russia.
Wales is behind us, since we won em 2-0 in Wales recently.
Not good chances of qualifying from this group. I saw a match 3-0 loss to Russia, and Russia was way better. Now we would have to win Russia or Germany and not lose points for weaker teams. there's a lot of to do to get there.
