Used to do underslab work on new houses. That is laying all the sewerage pipes and stormwater under the ground before the slab is poured.
There were many times that we had to go back because there were changes to plans that we were never advised of.
Room changes that put toilets in other areas etc.
Had a few times when we went out to mark the positions of the "points" only to find that the house selected did not quite fit the block. The guys who were supposed to check the block size against the house purchased did not do their job, subsequently the house was too big for the block.
