halo 3 new maps

first of all did anyone get them, i heard you can do sweet things in forge with them, too bad im flat broke.

but i heard there is a way to get them for free, it requires you to have a friend that has them. Could be a myth just wondering if anyone had heard anything about it

I think bungie should have given free map packs to those who had bought the special and legendary editions due to the higher price and still not getting much more for paying more. That and bungie recently announced the next 3 maps which should be available soon thus making the old maps free i beleive

yeah i heard the same swatteam, about new maps and old ones being free, and that is a good idea about legendary edition, however i agree with ts more, i mean they did make so much money and then they want 12 dollars out of everyone after a few months, and they are about put out new ones which just means more money. and with the price of games being 60 usd now its getting a little ridiculous

Bungie said the maps will be free in April when they release 3 more new Maps for Halo 3.

Its only 10 bucks.... just buy it... the new maps are amazing... Foundry is tons of fun to forge on... and Standoff is good for assault and capture the flag.... Rats nest is mostly slayer.... Stop complaining...
