and i constantly talk down about rap, i hate it. every bit. but i love Lil' Wayne.

word on that i completely agree on the embarrassed about thing, it's jus' ya know what you wouldn't wanna tell people you listen to cause it's out of ya ordinary and the comments that follow. However i'm embarrased about likin' Akon-I'm so Paid cause evrything that Akon does i find awful yet i like it for some reason, it's like inner-hate.

Most people think of rap or hip hop music as the pop music they here on tv that's why - i guess.

i just grew up with people that never listened to it.
i grew up skating to like sum41 and lagwagon and frodus and stuff.
i had never really heard rap til like 6th grade maybe?
and it didnt appeal to me.

to be fair a lot of people that like rock like atmosphere, it's not the first thing i'd recommend hiphop wise but it's pretty cool and people that generally like rock take a liking to it

yeah stereoblind just know that what you hear on the radio is pop, the real hip hop is underground or older stuff, there is few good hip hop artists on the radio.
