There were two released tracks as promo tracks.. and from those.. I am not looking forward to it at the moment.. so I am hoping when it does come out, he has returned to form..

Like Shifted said, so far from what I have heard it is not looking to be too great. But he seems to come through in the end so it will probably be decent anyways. It will sell like hotcakes whether its good or not though.

I enjoyed re-up a lot, some real solid tracks on that album, wasnt very popular thou. I hope its a sick album, cause hes got the talent.

I thought Crack a Bottle sounded a lot like the old Eminem. A little different but everyone changes. Anyway, it was sick lyrically.

Re-Up was great, but then hearing 'Before The Relapse' you realise how generic (still class!) some of his tunes have become.
IMO if it's like any of his D12 stuff, it could be good. However, PLEASE stay away from G-Unit style gangster shit!!
Looking forward to this tho!!

personally i'm not holding high hopes for this album. after hearing the promo track/single i was left disappointed (despite the fact i really really wanted it to be a return to form). i guess as long as he does stick away from the gangster crap it could be worth a look, but i doubt it will satisfy my need for a good eminem album

Quite true.
Those two Promo tracks I heard were absolute shockers.. Everyone was thinking and also saying, Eminem is back!
No he isn't, and I wonder if he will be back.. But then again, I guess my thoughts on Eminem are different to other peoples..
If he can make tracks like he did 6-7 years ago, that is something. But he might have to take a leap of faith and do somethings that are not considered commercial..
He knows his album will be bought whether it is commercial or not, but the thing is based on what most Americans listen to [and I am not trying to pin-point you, but their is a large number of Americans listening to stuff like G-Unit and all that wacky tobacky "artists" and I use "artists" loosely here..] that the fact is that if he were to release something straight and narrow, he will lose a lot of fans, or possibly, evolve the "rap-game" further..
But I think he will have some decent tracks on there for sure..
Encore was not that good an album, but he did have some sweet tracks on there. Like Toy Soldiers, Mockingbird, Mosh and etc..

Yo, what did you guys think to Obie Trice's two albums? Eminem was pretty sweet in those. Some classic shit right there. Hopefully there may be some more of Obie?
Yeah Encore was okay, definitley not bad, it's just his previous albums, esp Slim Shady LP were damn good.

Here's my take. Sounds like it was written for teenage white girls. Some is decent, but not his best by far. He really needs to get back to his old stuff. You guys that like Eminem's every release keep in mind I'll old school funk kinda guy when it come to this genre.

Honestly it's Eminem , the album is going to have hype on it , it could be really dope or really wack. I hope its hot honestly since i havent heard anything from him in a long time.
