In order to increase link quality, we will only be accepting links from the following file hosting sites: megaupload.com, mediafire.com, zshare.net, divshare.com, sharebee.com, sendspace.com, uploading.com, turboupload.com, bestsharing.com and depositfiles.com.
Does rapidshare count to?

cant imagine Rapidshare isnīt accepted anymore
found this on the mainsite
Hosting Of Albums
* Use reliable web hosts, we prefer file hosting sites such as rapidshare.de, megaupload.com and sendspace.com (and similar file hosts).
and this in the FAQ
Q. I submitted an album a few days ago, but I still haven't received my points.
A. This is probably because we denied your link. We deny links for many reasons, but the main reason is that the file was not hosted on a reliable server. Preferred links are from rapidshare, megaupload, sendspace, and turboupload.

rapidshare.de is not good anymore, use rapidshare.com for uploads.

Are the RS.de links still active (even though you very rarely see them these days)?

Out of about 100 links i check that are .de, I might get one still working, I really don't bother checking them anymore.
Rapidshare moved their organization off shore to avoid the new laws in Germany about copyright. So basically everything on .de, and we all know it's all pirated music, apps and what not, was being taken down by the owners complaining to the government.
So rapidshare.de is defunct except for some legal crap if you can be bothered. Rapidshare.com is going strong :) Mind you, their .com site still has files removed when advised by the legitimate owners.
The big difference is that with the German laws they were responsible to check the content for copyright, whereas, the .com they only need to remove when advised, therefore they are not liable for the upload and only responsible for the removal when advised.

Ah I see. I remember when they changed, didn't they say something about running out of space?

All smoke and mirrors.
They saw the writing on the wall with the new laws and took the opportunity to move their site off shore to avoid corporate responsibility for the uploads.

but dan asked if rapidshare (.com) is not accepted anymore because its not on the list
but i found it 2 times.....i think the rules are copy and pasted from an older site thats why you still read .de ;)
