Another old kiwi punk band. Tall Dwarfs A totally ratshit home made vid of them performing "The Brain That Wouldn't Die". One of the best bands I've ever seen live, and their leader, Chris Knox is a bloody genius.

This track speaks to an old guy who stabbed a fourteen year old to death for painting his fence with graffiti. Really sad song, and also, a tour of the hoods I was bought up in. Our idea of ghettos are acres and acres of cheap wooden bungalows supplied cheap for rent by the state. They are not specific to any race, just shit poor folks. I've also upped this album in AW, in the RapHipHop section.

Some modern alt. rock, punk now. Shihad's - Home Again. They were in the States during 9-11 and for a time changed their name to Pacifier. There kiwi fans noisily objected and they soon changed back again.
