How It Works
Only those whose IP address can be resolved can vote and/or nominate. (That is to say if you're using a proxy or some method to mask your IP, this will make that person ineligible to vote or nominate.)
Categories that a member may nominate or vote. These are:
Best Member
Best Moderator
Best VIP
Best Contributor
Best Helper
Best Sense of Humor
Nominations are collected in the first week via a thread for each category, these nominations are then culled, followed by a poll opened for two weeks and the final week is used to vet the votes and finalize the Award winner/s.
A person may nominate themselves for a category or they may be nominated by someone else. You cannot be nominated for a category that you do not participate.
If insufficient votes are awarded or no nominations for any particular award are put forward, then no award for that category will be conducted for that particular month. A tie in votes will result in a sharing of the award.
