I disliked The Killers for a quite a while, up until I've heard a couple of their newer songs. They've seen to turned a lot more folk-based, which is a lot more up my ally. I think the lead singer has amazing voice control/range.

I own their first album. 2005 was a good year for that sort of music. And partly because of a shift in my music tastes, I don't listen to them much any more.

in my opinion they suck, there music is emo and untolerable,like most new music. a good band is nevermore. check out the album this godless endever u will not be disapointed!:)

I listened to a random track by Nevermore on last.fm, and it was good. However, I don't think it is apt to recommend them as a band in a thread discussing the killers, which are sort of indie pop-rock sort of stuff.

I've like the killers scene there first song and have every CD but "Sawdust" and I think that their first one is still the best.
